I’m having some problems posting comments on critiques offered on my work. The space to type is so small that the text wraps around …. and its veery difficult to correct spelling errors with the text in a tiny little chopped up format. Am I missing something essential here? Or am I just too verbose ….. a possibility … This space is perfect!!!! |

Agreed, the space is indeed too small. |

I’ve mentioned it before. The suggested solution is to write your comments in Word, spell check them, then copy and paste over. Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedious. Or get better at typing. Also, didn’t we have a preview option on the comments before, like when submitting reviews? |

If you use Mozilla, there is a spell-check feature built in. |

Indeed, if you use Mozilla your entire Urbis experience will be much much better. IE is just plain horrible. That said, we can make the comment box bigger. |

IE is not appalling. I have sampled both Firefox and IE, and find having to scroll enhances my enjoyment by delaying the bottom of the page a little more. This “Get Firefox” tyranny might be off-putting to IE users. Aesthetically, Mozilla is nicer, but IE can be tolerated. |

IE is different. I’ve gotten used to Mozilla and despise going back to IE except for extreme situations. It’s all a matter of perspective. Stick with what you like, drop what you don’t. Except Safari. Stay far away from Safari. (groan) |

IE 7 is tolerable. IE 6 is the bane of any web person who needs to accommodate for it. I was with one of the Urbis designers until 3 AM last night trying to make Urbis work for IE 6 users. Still not as pretty as FF and Safari.
Actually, the newest Safari is pretty great – even the PC version. Colors render better (everything Apple is prettier) and many swear by the speed (including the Urbis lead developer). |

I couldn’t stand it. It was clunky (at least for me) and really slow. Tried it on the PC where I currently have Mozilla flying through on it’s way in cyberspace and I couldn’t stand it. Sure, the colors were pretty, but I’m not here to look at pictures. :) |

I have Mozilla, but I don’t like the way that fox always has his back to me. It’s so rude. |

Obviously a lover and not a fighter. |

A lover with it’s back turned… No, not going to go there. |
