It makes no sense that when you punch the view-comments button (top right on the homepage group of buttons) in response to an indication that there are comments to be viewed, you’re taken to the top of the first page of your posting, even if the comment appears in a review that’s three pages back. Since there’s no “new comment” flag on the reviews you may have to look through dozens of entries, opening reviews as you go, to see if the comment is new or old.

When you take the user to the work, those reviews with new responses should either have a red “new” indication or be already opened for viewing, which would make it a lot easier.

Absolutely. Absolutely what he said. That’s an old complaint. If the system knows which poem the comment is on, it ought not be that much more a problem to flag which review the new comment is on. Maddening to plow through those like that. I usually just give up.

Yes i have discovered that problem and as a prolific urbis reviewer and writer it is annoying.

The probem is, you may have more than one new comment on different pages. Urbis can’t take you to more than one page at a time. ;-)

One solution is to change the comment page to pull in the actual review/comments with new activity, so that you don’t need to click to the item page at all. For example, if I have three reviews with new comments, two are on item A and one is on Item B, I click on the “C” icone and all I see is.

Yes… And I would like a separate comments flag for reviews I have written with the same structure.

I think the comments given, comments recieved would be easier to follow Steve. Other than that the above example, i don’t understand at all.

OK, now the “1 NEW” beside personal comments is brown (not pink/magenta anymore) and is close to being unnoticable.

I noticed the same as Jezobid yesterday, And i still have to look through nigh on 700 reviews to locate my new comments.

We’re working on the sorting mechanims right now, so that reviews with “new personal comments” will appear at the top of your list.

We will also fix the color back to pink.

We’re looking for examples of “New Personal Comments” not appearing on the top of your review list. If anyone has an example of this, please let me know. Also, don’t click on the “New Personal Comments” link or the item link. This will zero out the personal comments and not let us spot the bug.

I know I must of recieved new personal comments today as my comment feed-back rating has gone down, if they are not showing we are unabled to prove this is happening. Yesterday I did actually receive two new comments which were located on my show all reviews pages, they were in grey/brown colour and about a third way down.
Also if you view my home page you will see that the first page review comment/reviews are still only showing as locked/unlocked, the only way you would find out is to do a test comment on someones reveiw/writing to see if it shows up. I am unaware if there has been any comment on my front page.

Sorry i just went through mine earlier and no new comments showed up. yes all 700+ lol. So i hope this did’nt Zero my new comments out.

No, it won’t zero your comments out unless you click on the item. The “new personal comment” indicator is working just fine. It’s just the sorting that needs to be fixed—so that all your reviews that have new personal comments will jump to the top of the list. If you find that you have “new personal comments” that are not at the top of the list, please don’t click on them and let us know.

Ok Steve, But on my home page the reviews are not actually showing, just the whether the review is locked or unlocked is showing, as well as the comments 0 insignia. I am still unabled to find out who is voting me helpful or unhelpful too.

The body of your reviews should only show when you click “View All Reviews.” They were showing in your dashboard for the past few months, but that was a bug.

We just fixed the review sorting bug (and made “new personal reviews!” pink again). This will be live in about twenty minutes.

Its in the little grey line above comments, just click the X on it.
