IMPORTANT NOTE: Check your Review On/Off Toggles
Hey everyone, If you get a chance, check your item settings to make sure they are correct. There was a bug for about three weeks that caused most Earned-Stranger reviews to be turned off, even if you meant for them to be on. We just ran a task to reverse this, however it is impossible to detect every scenario. Therefore, some Stranger Reviews were turned on that were not supposed to. Please go to batch edit settings to make sure you were not affected and to make changes if you were: |

I’m fine |

Yeah… I just received a ton of completely unwanted reviews for earlier versions of items that A) I’ve already edited and B) don’t really plan on editing again. So this is just a one time thing and not likely to happen again? |
We actually had to run it again (which is why the site is down) but it won’t happen again…again. |

Ok, now you screwed me. I received 20 new reviews – MOST on items I had closed! I only have one item opened for review. Are you going to pay me back my points? Or should I just open and forget? I don’t want them deleted before I read them… they might have something good in them… Let me know! |

Squarehopper, please message me about this privately. Thanks, Steve |

Has something happened to the review queue because of this? I’ve been back on lately and opened three items for review and posted a new one. I’ve done over 1000 points of reviews in the last 24 hours and have yet to see a single review. They are item in high traffic genres. I’ve never seen it like this. I emailed Steves_Sister about it. Could someone please look into it? |

1. Do you have unopened reviews? That should help you. |
I’ve said it before and I say it again – needing that amount of credits is ridiculous. |

Thanks tnd. I know these things and I’m not a newbie. I’ve been on here over a year and my ratio is about 6 reviews for every 7 I give. There’s no way that 1000 points, much less 3000, is any sort of minimum. That’s never been true since I’ve been here. Not sure where you got that info, but it’s got to be wrong. I rarely have over 1000 points, and often receive reviews when I’m below 200. I give one or two, I get one or two. That’s how this is supposed to work, and that’s how it’s worked most of the time I’ve been here. The only time I’ve seen otherwise was just over a year ago when there was some deep bug in the review queue. Steve, if you’re reading this, I hope you’ll shed some light. The only difference between then and now is that I’m actually paying to use the site! I’m MORE than happy to do that, and I love everything about this site. I’m just saying, if I pay my fee and I give due diligence in GIVING reviews, I ought be able to get a review without having to worry about banking points. It’s got to be a bug, right? |

I wasn’t accusing you of being a newbie, just pointing out things that I have noticed. With the population of Urbis seeming to grow and wan with each passing day, the reserve credits seem to have an affect on getting a review. That’s all I was trying to say. |
tnd. I wasn’t accusing you of accusing me! I was just trying to illuminate this situation. There’s no way someone should have to rack up 1000 points to get one review, much less 3000. Anyway, don’t worry, I didn’t take offense, nor did I mean to give any. |
Yeah? Well, I wasn’t accusing you of accusing me of accusing you! So, THERE! :D |
